Lance McDonald, surely one of the greatest specialists in the Bloodborne code outside of Software, has created a mod that allows the player to use any of the game’s enemies as a character in their games. The most curious thing is that this mod takes advantage of a debug option that was removed before the game’s release, and which can be accessed by pressing or L3 to take control of a blocked enemy thanks to its code modification.
Ace McDonald explains, the trick works on any enemy in Bloodborne, even with bosses, although there are some limitations, since the trick only works in the vicinity of the player’s original character. But it is a curiosity that will undoubtedly attract the attention of the fans of the game.

Okay it’s done. Bloodborne mod to play as enemies. Press L3 to take control of locked-on enemy. Press L1+R1+R3 to return control to player. Pretty happy with this. It’s actually a debugging feature that was removed, I just patched in some sneaky code to access it. pic.twitter.com/4KEcrkpMyN
