One of the main pitfalls of playing on a mobile or tablet is the absence of physical controls. Anyone who has not been born with a smartphone under his arm will know the extra effort that must be made to get the controls on screen. Now Apple users are in luck, because in the fall the company will make compatible their iPhone, iPad and Apple TV with the Xbox and PlayStation 4 controls. To date only compatible with MFi controls was offered, but finally open to more devices.
This is one of the many features that will come thanks to the upcoming updates, iOS 13 and iPadOS, but for now you can test the open beta that has launched the Cupertino. Apparently, connecting to remote is as simple as opening the bluetooth options and connect it, but keep in mind that while all DualShock 4 have this connectivity, the older Xbox One does not. If you hesitate, go to the Xbox support page to check it. With the applications and streaming platforms that are already available and are about to arrive, the anticipation of being able to play also on Apple devices with the controls that we already have is very juicy. Obviously, many will try this new functionality with Fortnite, and it does not seem too bad!
