One of the most interesting aspects of a fair like the E3 is to check how the videogames that are advertised or that show launch date in terms of bookings perform, and that is what it allows us to check the GamesIndustry portal in a new report that collects the tickets carried out in major stores in the week of E3 2019.
The data reveal that, as expected, the most reserved video games are also those that have made the most noise at the fair. The first two, in fact, are Final Fantasy VII Remake and Cyberpunk 2077 that appear in the highest, respectively, in the Amazon and Gamestop rankings.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, both in its standard edition and in the collector, Pokémon Sword and Shield and some more releases. The futuristic RPG of CD Projekt Red appears here a few posts below.
On Gamestop? The second place is for FFVII Remake, while there are places highlighted at the top for the collector editions of Gears 5 and Link’s Awakening itself.
Of course, these data are not representative of what the sales of video games are, but they clearly show the public’s interest in limited editions and, in addition, allow us to get an idea of the bookings registered in a period in which the early purchase processes for important games such as Animal Crossing have started: New Horizons, Elden Ring, Eternal Doom, Watch Dogs Legion, Dying Light 2, Tales of Arise, Gods & amp; Monsters, Marvel’s Avengers or Luigi’s Mansion 3, among many others.
