It was an open secret and here it is, Ubisoft does not want to lose ground with the emergence of on-demand videogame services and has presented during its press conference at E3 2019 Uplay +, its own video game service on demand that also has confirmed subscription price, release date and first video games.
Uplay + guarantees users access to more than a hundred, to start, video games launched by the company between classics and recent productions, in exchange for a monthly fee of 14.99 euros. The platform will become operational this September 3, and for the time being, it will only be available for PC, although it is promised that it will also arrive in Google Stadia in 2020.
Among the most outstanding works of the library is Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, The Division 2, Fary Cry 5, Anno 1800, Rainbow Six Siege, The Crew 2, For Honor and upcoming releases such as Ghost Recon: Breakpoint or Watch Dogs: Legion. The latter, in fact, can be accessed three days before from Uplay + and in case of beta the subscribers will be entitled to participate in it.
It is not the only incentive presented to its subscribers. They will also be able to take advantage of the most exclusive editions with DLC and additional content from, as we said, Ubisoft’s extensive catalog of recent and classic videogames. Uplay + is a platform that does not require fidelity from its clients; that is, whoever wants to unsubscribe without penalty or any other problem.
