One more week, the Japanese publication Famitsu updates the sales data of videogames and consoles in Japan, this time featuring the premiere of Yo-Kai Watch 4: We’re Looking Up at the Same Sky and the adaptation of Yakuza 5 to PS4. The first of them leads the podium with ease, but networks have not been slow to realize that sales of the franchise are in fact slowly and inexorably decaying.
Illustratively, the Yo-Kai Watch original sold ” just ” some 53,000 copies in its premiere week, but exceeded 1.3 million over time. The most successful was Yo-kai Watch 2: Fantasies / Carnanimas, which garnered almost 1.3 million sales in its first week and surpassed 3.25 million later. From that point, the rest of deliveries have lowered their initial sales and narrowed their margin for global improvement. However, the numbers also show that Yo-Kai Watch still enjoys an excellent state of health, as you can see in the list below.
