The current holder of the world record in completing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has created a special assembly with a speedrun that shows what a perfect tour of the game would be like.
ZFG1 has the best time in the world, 3 hours, 53 minutes, 33 seconds, a mark that the players consider the best possible, at least for a human being. The thing changes when it is an artificial intelligence that plays. A program has been completed in an emulator and then this fan has mounted them in a video that shows how the whole course would be played perfectly.
This theoretically unbeatable race cuts almost 15 minutes to the current time of ZFG, with a combination of tricks that are not always achievable in real time. Taking into account all the advantages that artificial intelligence has, this player’s time is amazing, since the difference is quite small.
ZFG1 is not only a fast and skillful player, it is also ingenious. A few months ago we explained how he had managed to find a trick that allowed him to finish Ocarina of Time without opening a single door.
