Jvgsjeff is one of the world’s biggest fans of Animal Crossing, an enthusiastic player who has not left his villagers alone, nor left the village of his original Gamecube game, in 17 years.
Jeff has kept his first city, called “Forest”, active since 2002. More than 10,000 hours of dedication that his game records attest to. And during all that time, Jeff has managed to keep most of the original inhabitants, in a relationship that this player considers “almost like old friends, or in some cases, annoying neighbors that you have liked … more or less”;
Despite its delivery, there are still certain elements of the game that it has not achieved, as certain rare plants are only temporarily available or objects belonging to certain events. Only a few of the objectives offered by this title, which is still fun. Jeff says the game has not lost its charm, and he enjoys creating his own challenges, like traps for his own villagers: “Animal Crossing can get boring after long periods, but add some of your own ideas and your own creativity, and that’s where it shines, “Jeff explains in an interview.
In 2011, Jeff started his own blog with practically daily publications where he reviewed his activities within the game, leaving a record of all kinds of anecdotes and curiosities. A commitment to Animal Crossing also supported by a YouTube channel, which you have found a strong following base. Jeff hopes to be able to give a boost of enthusiasm to his publications thanks to the upcoming release of Animal Crossing for Nintendo Switch. Maybe in the nearby Nintendo Direct of this E3 2019 we see a new preview of this expected title.
