RJ Palmer has shared a series of images from the production of the Pokémon movie: Detective Pikachu at a time in the project in which the actor Danny DeVito was associated with the role of the detective pokémon, before the participation of Ryan Reynolds.
In the images coming from his Artstation profile, some changes are evidenced on the Pikachu design that we finally saw in the film, as a somewhat more stylized figure. In Palmer’s illustrations we can also observe certain curiosities, such as a comparison of size with the humans of the film, different facial expressions or an anatomical study of the bone structure of Pikachu.
RJ Palmer, who also works as an artist at Ubisoft, has made his job as a designer in the film thanks to his “fanarts” Realistic Pokemon Just a few days ago we were able to enjoy his personal version of the Pokémon initials of Shield and Sword Pokémon.
