One of the great promises of PlayStation 5 is to make the load times and Sony wanted to demonstrate with a comparison between PS4 Pro and one of the models in development of its new console. The result? Waiting times are practically non-existent.
For the demonstration that took place at the Sony IR Day 2019 in Tokyo, the Japanese have used Marvel’s Spider-Man PS4 example. In the Pro model of its current platform, the video game has been loading times of close to eight seconds, while in the new PS5 they are only 83 tenths of a second.
During the event the president of Sony, Kenichiro Yoshida, also assured that for “PlayStation to continue to be the best place to play,” the Japanese company “will work to maintain and improve its relations with external developers ” ” The manager has also used a phrase that could be one of PS5’s mottos: “at any time, anywhere, without interruptions.”
