CD Projekt has recently shared a summary of the fiscal efforts of the last quarter, where -among other things- it is mentioned that there are more than 400 involved in the development of their new video game, Cyberpunk 2077.
Illustratively, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt had 240 developers, although in total there were about 1,500 people working on it if we had executives, publicists and more. These numbers do not surprise us if we consider the ambitions of the project. Repeatedly, CD Projekt has said that CD2077 will be even bigger than its previous work, and its latest demo gameplay showed great progress compared to what has been seen until today. We will see more of Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2019.
On the other hand, it seems that The Witcher 3 and its DLC continues to be CD Projekt’s main source of revenue. GWENT and Thronebreaker also continue to bring benefits, but they are merely testimonials compared to the wizard’s 2015 adventure.
