Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed an important novelty for the 7.00 update of PlayStation 4. The chat groups will go from 8 to 16 players with the new firmware, which can be tested in beta format in the coming days. It has also been confirmed that the new update will allow the console to apply the next firmwares without the need to restart the machine unless it is strictly necessary.
The firm has already begun recruiting PS Network users to include them in the PlayStation Beta program, so if you have been a regular in testing new updates in the past you may repeat them with 7.00. Sony is expected to concrete new measures for the new system update in the coming days. The 7.00 firmware release date is a mystery for now.
