Screenwriter Greg Russo, who has worked on the plot of the new movie about the Mortal Kombat saga, has announced through his personal Twitter account some interesting details about the level of violence that will feature the feature film. Something important for fans, since the bloodthirsty condition of the franchise has been one of its strengths since its inception.
The Mortal Kombat film will be rated R, which means in the United States that only go to see its over 17 years old or, otherwise, minors under this age accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. In addition, fatalities are guaranteed. ” Mortal Kombat is going to have an R rating and, in addition, for the first time you will see fatalities on the big screen, although I will not say which, “declares Greg Russo, who recommends waiting for the movie premiere to see them.
The feature film about the NetherRealm Studios fight series is raising some expectation, and recently we’ve told you that Joe Taslim will be Sub-Zero in the movie.
Since it's already been stated by other members of the team, I'm gonna put this one to bed. MK WILL be R-Rated and for the first time EVER, FATALITIES will FINALLY be on the big screen (and no I'm not gonna say which ones) You'll just have to wait for the movie & see!!! 😉 pic.twitter.com/aVTewH4t28
