After showing the first trailer of the Ni no Kuni movie just a few weeks ago, Level 5 has announced that it will be released in Japan on August 23, but for now the plans to release it also in the West.
With a script and direction by veteran Akihiro Hino, the head of Level 5, the Ni no Kuni film will feature a soundtrack by Joe Hisaishi, a great composer who has put music to the films of Studio Ghibli. The history? It has opted for a completely original story, oblivious to the stories of the games, while retaining the essence of these role adventures.
The film is starring two young friends, Yu and Haru, who will travel to the beautiful fantasy world that we discovered in the original title, or the most recent Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, in order to help a friend injured after suffering an accident.
