We recently offered you a study by Broad Band Genie, which stated that most British players were interested in streaming, with a study of over 3,000 people that showed 83% interest. Now we have a somewhat different data by Ipsos MORI and, on this occasion, have to do with the European continent in general and with, specifically, Microsoft’s xCloud and Google’s Stadia.
The United Kingdom is the place where there is more interest for this type of offers, with 23% claiming to be interested in these two platforms, 5% very interested and the rest divided between total disinterest, indifference , the desire to try it before issue a trial or already have subscriptions such as, for example, PS Now from Sony. But we go to one of the parties that we are interested in, the distribution by countries.
In Spain only 14% of the fans are interested in xCloud or StadiaAhí Spain places its interest well below that of the United Kingdom, on par with France, with just 14% of fans wanting to see what platforms like xCloud or Stadia can give according to the polls. There is still a country with less interest for these two services, Germany, with 10% that is attracted to them and 75% of total disinterest. What is clear is that respondents do see their connections prepared for this type of offer. In the United Kingdom is where more security is in this sense, with 54%, while France is where less skilled are seen with 37%.
Physical or streaming? Here things are equal, surprisingly. On the European continent, and according to this study, 31% of fans prefer to buy games in physical format rather than streaming, while 24% do not have a preference in this regard. Of course, there is a 22% of fans who are concerned about what they can cost gaming services by subscription and streaming, and there are 27% of people who would change their negative opinion on these platforms if they were allowed to download to your disk hard the contents they offer.
