The already complete The Division 2 is preparing to welcome its first big downloadable episode, entitled Suburbs D.C.: Expeditions. It will be available on July 23 for users subscribed to the Year 1 pass, while the rest of the fans will be able to access its new contents as of July 30.
The action of Suburbs D.C. It is located after the events that took place at Tidal Basin, and will give access to new explorable areas where two additional main missions take place (Camp White Oak and Manning National Zoo). The Expeditions that star in this episode, on the other hand, are a new type of experience that will take place at Kenly College. Each week we will be given access to a new wing (each with its own theme) and we will be asked to search for the survivors. If we complete the three wings that make up this location, we can access a room full of riches.
Likewise, we can play new classified missions of narrative value and with unique unlockables that add to those that are already available; and we can also improve our arsenal with new weapons, gloves and an exotic weapon, the Diamondback rifle. The existing contents will also be improved with several new features. For example, the Dark Hours raid (which had already been tested in the PTS) will welcome the Exploration difficulty mode, while the skill point system will be redesigned to allow us to create more original and in line with the original division.
Finally, the recalibration system receives new settings to allow us to share designs with other players from the WT1, as well as receive pieces of power level 500 or recalibrate pieces that we have created by our account.
