Anthem has not been one of the protagonists of E3 2019, and the title has had a fair of very low profile in contrast to other EA games that are also on sale now and have had a presence for their updates and support post- release, such as Battlefield V or Apex Legends. Just a few statements from their managers and, of course, a meeting with influencers that have raised blisters.
Right now on the internet there is a lot of dissatisfaction because the fans who attended the EA Play feel that they were not heard and, in contrast to this, there was a meeting with famous streamers and creators of content to define the future of the game in a session within its Game Changers program. “Looking for feedback”, could be read in the message posted on Twitter.
EA Play was a fantastic opportunity to listen to the players. This, in networks like Reddit, has caused stupor, with fans throwing Electronic Arts that do not listen to the community of fans who usually play the title. “EA Play was a fantastic opportunity to get feedback from consumers,” declared an amateur. “Obviously you can not ask everyone, but I did not see any option to hear anyone, fill out a survey or something similar.” Then there was this table of influencers, and it seemed like a slap in the face to the players. even tables to test the game between veteran and novice players, why not ask the first ones? “
The messages are crowded talking about” a great missed opportunity “and, in general, of a lack of attention and interest on the part of Electronic Arts in what the community has to tell them about their videogames.
This idea, of course, contrasts strongly with BioWare’s intention to listen to the community with the idea of turning Anthem into a fantastic game, something that they are still able to achieve.
