If you did not have enough oriental demons in Sekiro, now it’s Nioh 2’s turn. Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo have today kicked off a closed alpha testing phase that some PS4 users can access. The rest of us will have to settle for a new trailer and details of the game.
The video, which you can see next to these lines, shows that for the first time we can use a character editor to create a male protagonist or feminine of our taste. It also allows us to transform into a powerful demon, something that will surely become the most novel mechanics of the game. Many new enemies and weapons also appear.
Unfortunately, only a few will be able to enjoy this news from today: ” some PS4 users are being invited to participate in the closed alpha of Nioh 2 to help gather impressions for development ” explains Team Ninja on Twitter. ” To make sure the team can manage the impressions, there are no plans to expand the alpha at this time, but please stay tuned to our channels for more information in the future ”
Nioh 2 no it has a fixed release date, but is expected to debut on PS4 sometime this year to face a huge wave of impossible monsters.
Some PS4 users are invited to take part in the Nioh 2 closed alpha to help gather feedback for the development. To ensure the team can manage the feedback, there are no plans to expand the alpha at the moment, but please keep an eye on our channels for more info in the future. pic.twitter.com/hS1l0rHLFa
