Today premieres on Netflix the third season of Stranger Things, one of the best-known productions of the streaming video platform, and in Japan it has been promoted with a nice video in which we can see the young stars of Stranger Things casting a few games to the mythical Famicom in the company of one of the best-known personalities of the Japanese video game industry in the eighties, when the series is set.
This is Toshiyuki Takahashi, more known as Takahashi Meijin, which inspired the design of Master Higgins in Adventure Islands, one of the most popular video games of the time developed by Hudson Soft, parents also of Bomberman.
During the Netflix video we can see Eleven, Lucas, Mike and other members of the group enjoying some NES classics while Takahashi flaunts his skills with games like Star Force. The premiere of this new season coincides with the release also of Stranger Things 3: The Game. Do not forget that from the beginning of the fiction of the Duffer brothers have had many winks to the world of video games, showing some classic titles of the eighties.
