During E3 2019, Terraria’s parents have presented Journey’s End, the fourth great update of the game. Originally it had been announced as version 1.3.6, but it seems that it has covered enough ambitions to win the 1.4 title. The patch has been presented with a patch, but the official blog of the game also comes with a summary of developments.
Among other things, Journey’s End will introduce improvements to the procedural generation of the world, including new mini biomes and atmospheric changes. New amenities will also arrive for the pleasure of dedicated players, like a new bestiary.
Of course, Terraria will add new content in the form of bosses and enemies, a gold minigame and a whopping 800 new items. If none of this excites you enough, you will be pleased to know that there is a new way of difficulty on the way, superior to the expert mode, which is the definitive challenge for the masters of the game. Journey’s End will be free and will arrive little by little to all platforms where it is available, presumably before the end of 2019. Delays are not ruled out if necessary.
