This coming summer, PC players, through Steam, and PlayStation 4 will have the pleasure of enjoying the latest action adventure and platforms inspired by the great classics of Rare and Nintendo: Tamarin. It is a videogame created by Chameleon Games that, in fact, has its main responsible veterans of the studio in its time of development for the legendary Nintendo 64.
In this sense, Richard Vaucher is mentioned, artist of Donkey Kong 64, as an art producer; and David Wise, composer of Donkey Kong Country, as head of the soundtrack of this platform proposal. Graeme Norgate (GoldenEye 007 and Killer Instinct) will be responsible for the sound effects.
For its playable premise and plot, Tamarin takes the player to the role of a small primate, to tamarin to be exact, who has to restore the idyllic natural spot in which those of their species live. This is guaranteed an adventure loaded with sequences of platforms, exploration and shooting where we will travel through an underground world full of dancing ants, chase mysterious electric fireflies and rescue innocent birds among forests, fjords, mountains and deserts.
The game will be available on PC and PS4 this summer at a price of 27.99 euros / 29.99 dollars (35.99 euros / 39.99 dollars in case of its deluxe version).
Launch on Nintendo Switch? Its makers have assured that the video game started before the premiere of the hybrid system and that, given the small study they are, the adaptation of the video game platform would take a long time.
