As it is becoming more usual than we would like, yesterday a new rumor emerged in Brazil that spoke of a supposed presentation of Street Fighter 6 at the 2019 EVO. Naturally, we did not echo the news, but it seems that many media did not hesitate to give credibility to the announcement after the confirmed relationship between the organizers of the EVO with Sony and PlayStation. Could the sixth Street Fighter be in the tournament? It seems complicated: Yoshinori Ono has ruled out the possibility on Twitter.
Presenting an enviable collection of Street Fighter games in a tweet (much of what has been released in domestic format related to the Capcom saga up to the date), Ono said “I don’t have Street Fighter 6 … Who said it? Our mind is only in one place: working on Street Fighter 5 Arcade Edition. ”The organization of the EVO made news in the great world tournament of fighting games, but it does not seem that Capcom’s plans go through Street Fighter 6 today.
The EVO is held in Las Vegas on 2 to August 4. An appointment that can be historical for Spain: the Vodafone Giants delegation will go to the United States with the intention of signing a good role in Street Fighter V, Mortal Kombat XI and Dragon Ball FighterZ. All eyes of the community are on Vegapatch, Fasoll and Shanks.
