Although Netflix is mainly focused on the film and television series business, sometimes it also publishes games based on its contents. For example, at E3 2019 we have seen the announcement of Dark Crystal: The age of resistance – Tactics, but in the past we have also had some games of Stranger Things.
During a panel at the E3 Coliseum, Christopher Lee (manager of the Netflix games division) has announced a new game of Stranger Things that still have not name, but some details. For now, we know that the subsidiary Next Games is developing it, and that will reach mobile phones in 2020. The artwork on the cover has also been shown.
It defines itself as a game that combines puzzle and RPG, and that will integrate your real location in the game. We assume that it will be in the line of Pokémon GO or Minecraft Earth in some way, although it will be necessary to wait longer for confirmation. Meanwhile, Stranger Things fans can be content to watch their new season, which premieres on July 4.
