StarCraft: Remastered will undergo a significant graphic change and will be converted into cartoons thanks to a new mod developed by Blizzard and Carbot Animation.
Carbot is an animation studio that has worked with Blizzard in animated parodies of StarCraft, Overwatch and World of Warcraft, and that will apply its humorous graphic style directly to the game thanks to a new graphic package that will be available on July 10. This complete revision affects the entire game, from the menus to the design and animations of the units, according to Carbot. This is an addition similar to that received by StarCraft 2 a couple of years ago, which makes these strategy classics look like completely new titles.
Blizzard presented this project during a recent StarCraft League event in Korea, next to the announcement of the last season of the StarCrafts series, but it has not confirmed the price of this graphic mod yet.
