During E3 2019, Square Enix and Nintendo announced a couple of interesting developments about Dragon Quest: the first was the release date of Dragon Quest XI S, and the second, that the hero of Dragon Quest will join the template of wrestlers from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. If you are a fan of the RPG series, you will want to take note of a new Pro thematic controller that will allow you to play Nintendo Switch with something similar to the iconic Slime monster.
The command is the result of a collaboration with the accessories manufacturer Hori, and will arrive in Japan in the month of September in exchange for about 100 euros. It is not entirely clear if it will reach the West or not, although other similar collaborations with Nintendo have crossed the ocean. As a reminder, the design of the remote is actually very similar to another launched in 2017 for PS4, only with a few buttons and functionalities on the Switch line.
The Slime Pro remote can be connected to the console wirelessly, and is charged with a USB cable type C included in the package or with the charger of the switch itself. It includes functions like the gyroscope, which can be used in any compatible game. Also it is distributed with a support of cardboard with form of chest of Dragon Quest, and with a replica of Slime on top.
