Just over half a year after its release on PS4 and Xbox One, the ambitious remastering Spyro: Reignited Trilogy announces its release for Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam). Unfortunately, it has no definitive release date, but Activision Publishing guarantees that it will arrive sometime in the summer.
Toys For Bob, the developers of Reignited Trilogy for console, will be responsible for developing the Nintendo Switch version, while Iron Galaxy signs the game port to PC. This latest version will allow us to play at a maximum resolution of 4K for the teams that can afford it.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a compilation and remastering edition about the longed-for action and platform franchise starring a sympathetic purple dragon. This trilogy includes Spyro the Dragon, Ripto’s Rage! and Year of the Dragon and its development is the responsibility of Toys for Bob, a studio with experience in the development of Activision Skylanders video games.
