Undoubtedly, Red Dead Redemption 2 was one of the most celebrated releases of 2018, so it is not strange that the PC community remains attentive to any clue about a possible port. The latest evidence that invites optimism comes from Reddit, where an amateur finds a mention to RDR 2 for PC on the LinkedIn profile of a former Rockstar employee.
Canadian Nan Ma worked as a physics programmer at Rockstar Toronto between 2010 and 2016, where he collaborated in the development of Max Payne 3 and the various iterations of Grand Theft Auto V. According to his profile, he was also temporarily involved in Red Dead Redemption 2 for PS4, Xbox One … and PC. As a curiosity, the story talks about GTA Online, but not Red Dead Online.
This news, in fact, does not catch us off guard: last year, there were also mentions of RDR 2 for PC in another employee’s resume. Unfortunately, we must consider the possibility that we are facing simple mistakes or even that Rockstar planned to take the game to computers and then take a step back.
