Veteran Glen Schofield, father of Dead Space and one of the main creatives behind Call of Duty, announced today that after leaving Activision in 2018, he will work with PUBG Corp. His role in the company? He will be part of a new studio called Striking Distance, located in San Ramón (California) where he will work on ” an original story set in the world of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds & quot ;.
Striking Distance is recruiting new talents in these moments, so it is very likely that it will be while we get news about it again. It is not the first time we hear of a story based on PUBL, but it definitely seems to be the definitive opportunity to bet on it. Recently, we also reported that PUBG has sold about 5 million copies this year.
Big new! I’m proud and honored to announce that I am now part of PUBG Corporation. Working together, we are building a AAA game studio called Striking Distance in San Ramon, CA.
