Intel has just launched a tool that automates the overclock process of some of its ninth generation processors. Intel Performance Maximizer is now available, and can be used with the following processors: Core i9-9900KF, Core i9-9900K, Core i7-9700KF, Core i7-9700K, Core i5-9600KF, Core i5-9600K. That is, it actually works with only three processors, but its variants are added with integrated graphics and without them. Hopefully, over time, they will add more CPUs to the list.
The tool differs from its own Extreme Tuning Utility in that it is automatic. Intel describes it as “hyperintelligent”, and sets the parameters according to the potential performance of each CPU. The PCPerspective guys have already tested it and it seems that the results are not as ideal as we could get by doing the process “by hand”. Other tools on the market, such as those offered by Nvidia with their OC Scanner or AMD for their Ryzen, already have more callus and achieve better base results, but over time we hope that Intel’s refinement more. Anyway, if you want to try it, download it here.
