USA Network, a US pay channel from which authentic jewels have emerged as Mr. Robot, have commissioned the development of a pilot chapter of Master of Doom, the adaptation of the biographical novel by John Carmack and John Romero written by David Kushner in 2003. In this way, and to get ahead of the project, the viewers can see from the small screen the origins of id Software as well as great sagas that transformed the industry as Doom and Quake.
The production is in charge of the brothers Dave and James Franco and will feature in the script for this episode with Tom Bissell, a veteran journalist and writer who has collaborated on the scripts of various industry titles such as Gears of War 4, Uncharted 4, Batman: Arkham Origins or What Remains of Edith Finch to name some of his works. Deadline advances that the idea seems to go through an anthological series, so we see more biographies adapted to television.
Masters of Doom is one of the main novels about the history of the world, and how can you read on the cover of the book, its pages are about how two types, Carmack and Romero, created an empire and transformed popular culture.
