AEVI has reported this morning to 2018 record in video game revenue, and that has a lot to see that the number of players does not stop growing in Spain. Thus, according to their estimates, there are already 16.8 million users, one million more than in 2017, to reach 47% of Spaniards between 6 and 64 years.
Of all of them 41% of the players already correspond to women, good news that also seems to improve as the sectors from 5 to 24 years have a technical draw. In addition, it has been reported that Spaniards spent an average of 6.2 hours per week in this activity in 2018, a figure below the United Kingdom (9.1 hours), Germany (7.4 hours) or France (6.6 hours).
The profile of Spanish users presented in the yearbook provided by AEVI also allows us to know which are the most used devices. Thus, 26% of the players are assiduous to consoles, 21% to PC, another 21% to mobile phones, 10% to laptops, 8% to tablets and the remaining 14% to other devices not specified.
