Although today Fallout 76 is a very enjoyable game, its release had so many problems that the press and fans continue to resort to this issue from time to time. How could Bethesda have achieved a smoother release? Todd Howard, game director, gives his opinion in an interview with Gamespot.
” What I regret most is not having made a beta that many people could access ” the creative ” If we had given it to each Fallout 4 player for free and gave him uninterrupted access to it for a longer period of time, he would have let us see what we were facing here ”
Actually, Fallout 76 already had a beta, but according to Howard, it set itself the goal of making sure it could support the peaks of players. Once the stability of the server was guaranteed, the development team did not continue to monitor the stability of the game, something that clearly cost them dearly when their MMO-lite came to stores.
Would Todd Howard change how he handled the release of #FallOut76? 🤔
