Certainly, Epic Games Store has entered the digital market strongly, but there are still many elements in its shuttle that allow it to compete with the rest of the competition’s platforms. One of these elements is saved in the cloud, which seems to have just been integrated into some system games. Epic CEO Tim Sweeney addressed the novelty in a recent entry in his personal Twitter account.
“The cloud save is available for some new games now. We have to work a little more before launching it to the rest of the video games”, explained to a user. Unfortunately, no concrete launch date has been offered for the arrival of the save in the cloud of the rest of the platform’s titles, so we will have to wait for an official announcement from Epic Games in the coming weeks.
Epic Games Store was up to date yesterday: the Fortnite creators’ store will give away Alan Wake and For Honor next week as part of their free games promotion.
Cloud saves are enabled for a couple of new games right now. We have a bit more work to do before rolling it out more widely.
