From June 11 to 13, the videogame industry will once again focus its eyes on the populous city of Los Angeles in an edition that, once again, promises to be full of trailers, presentations and a few surprises. However, the first we have for weeks with the confirmation that Sony PlayStation will not go to E3 2019, but will be the rest of the big companies in the sector.
The fun is guaranteed, and in 3DJuegos we are fully prepared for it. Starting with the date and time of the more than successful press conferences of E3 2019. The appointment will feel the absence of Sony, that’s clear, and if that were not enough EA has ruled out having its own conference this year, although they will be in Los Angeles richly represented with more direct content to the consumer; but on the other hand we have Microsoft claiming to have much to share in E3 in a date where there will be plenty of Halo Infinite and in which the PC will have its leading role.
In an “excellent opportunity” to show its audience new games and experiences, it has also been announced that Nintendo will go to E3 2019. Obviously, as is usual in the giant of Kyoto, the secrecy of the company is total and we will have to wait until the last few weeks to know if there will be a more generic Nintendo Direct or focus on very specific launches as previous courses.
Far away from the manufacturing companies, we have in Bethesda and Ubisoft the publishers that most bet on the event. And if nothing changes from here to June, his lectures could be broadcasts rich in surprises. On the side, the North American company has already been confirmed that neither The Elder Scrolls VI nor Starfield will be present at E3 2019, while the French return to be protagonists of the networks rumorology with a supposed Watch Dogs 3 or new Splinter Cell on the way. Will it be right this time?
For its part, Square Enix has confirmed that it will be at the event, but for now, it has left in the air whether or not it will have a live event. Other companies, such as CD Projekt and its Cyberpunk 2077, among a multitude of developers of different sizes, will also attend Los Angeles even if they do not have conferences as such.
PC Gaming Show will once again be a must for computer players and more this year. Although there is nothing confirmed in this regard, the event may serve the Epic Games Store to continue showing their cards to be the number one launcher on PC. Finally, we must not forget Devolver Digital as well as a possible reissue of the E3 Coliseum held during the past year.
