One of the surprises of the E3 2019 was Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, a new videogame set in the legendary manganime that will bet on RPG action mechanics instead of the traditional action style. And what about the story? Bandai Namco has released today a publication on Twitter where Akira Toriyama himself, creator of the saga, talks about it.
” Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is an RPG action game, full of the Dragon Ball universe. It includes stories that have not been revealed in the manga, and I’m sure fans can immerse themselves in their world. It is a refreshing interpretation of the franchise where you will relive the moment when Goku discovers his Saiyan lineage and his birth name, Kakarot. Experience the fighting as it becomes more and more challenging with high fidelity graphics. I hope you enjoy the game! “
However, it seems that Toriyama himself has participated in the creation of these secondary stories. Illustratively, the artist participated in Dragon Ball Fighter Z as supervisor during the design process of Android 21. For now, we will settle for knowing that Dragon Ball Z Kakarot will reach PC, PS4 and Xbox One in 2020.
