Id Software has announced that during the celebration of the Quaken 2019, which starts this July 25, the new multiplayer mode of the spectacular DOOM Eternal will be announced; a Battlemode that will allow players to take control of the demons to hunt down the action hero, also controlled by another fan.
The talk dedicated to DOOM Eternal will take place on July 26, and this coincides with the celebration of the year of Doom. The great particularity of this new Battlemode is that a player embodies the Slayer, while two other players get into the skin of demons, having the possibility of even invoking other creatures to hunt down their enemy.
Recently the Id Software team analyzed what failed in the DOOM multiplayer and what makes this new Battlemode a much more fun experience to play. “We often study how the previous DOOM works, and there are people who keep playing the campaign over and over again, and it’s because they like the way it makes them feel,” said one of the top leaders of the study, Marty Stratton ” So with the DOOM Eternal Battle Mode, we want to give fans the opportunity to continue playing on a more dynamic stage. ”
