Throughout the last few months, the highly anticipated DOOM Eternal has presented numerous key pieces of art: illustrations that were stenciled in murals of E3 2019 or celebrating the 25th anniversary of the series. Now, Bethesda and id Software present the spectacular image that will occupy the metallic box presented in the collector’s edition of the game.
The illustration, as had been anticipated, is the result of a collaboration with Mondo (one of the best-known firms in the world of SteelBooks) and the artist Gabz. If you look at the promotional photograph that accompanies the collector’s version, you will notice that this art does not wrap 100% of the box, but separates the front and back with a black band and the logo of the game.
DOOM Eternal will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Stadia on November 22. If the metal box catches your attention, wait to see the helmet of Doom Slayer that is supplied in the luxurious (and expensive) collector’s edition. Alternatively, you can enjoy the beautiful game in a newly announced art book.
