David Jaffe, director of PS2’s first God of War, wanted to send a message of support to the LGTBQ community stating that Kratos was “bisexual” until he settled with his wife. So Kratos is officially bi ”
His posting on Twitter generated a quick controversy among the fans, who did not hesitate to point out that at no time during the games can Kratos be seen maintaining relationships with other men, but yes with multiple women. Faced with this reaction from his followers, Jaffe published another message in which he clarifies that “Kratos is neither gay nor gay as I wrote it.” He is hetero “I have added that his clarification was necessary given that” some of you are clearly too stupid to understand when you are being trolled. “
After these two messages Jaffe is now between two fronts of messages recriminating his publications, and that in the last few hours they have made him publish all kinds of justifications both reaffirming their respect for LGTBQ fans and explaining that the first message was a simple joke.
Regardless of Kratos’ preferences, his latest adventure has been a success for Sony, and is that the new God of War of PS4 has become the best-selling video game in the series in just one year.
Oh, and one more thing: not to get all JK Rowling but when I was working on the origins of Kratos for the first games I knew he was a raging bi-sexual until he settled down with his wife. So Kratos is officially bi. Oh and the Oracle from GOW1? Lesbian, straight up! Boom! https://t.co/jXUZ0NXIfo
