As you have shared CD Projekt on your official Twitter account, Cyberpunk 2077 is selling very well on GOG. Although there is no specific data on the reserves, the developer has quantified that 33% of the reserved copies of the software from the creators of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC are being sold in the Polish digital video game store.
What is the current sale translated into? In that the developers receive 100% of the income from each copy sold, without having to pay any kind of financial compensation to the stores that host the game virtually. The classic Good Old Games is a store owned by the CD Projekt group, so they do not charge any income to the games developed by the studio.
The Polish firm wanted to thank its users for their confidence in your official Twitter account ensuring that “your support … is breathtaking”. Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on April 16th. It can be played on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
