Son Goku is already preparing to star in his next role-playing videogame. Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is being developed by the creators of the Naruto Ultimate Ninja series, CyberConnect 2, and is one of Bandai Namco’s best projects for the coming months. The producer of the game, Ryosuke Hara, has spoken in a recent interview about the keys behind the new Dragon Ball software, detailing what are the pillars of the production: ” There are three keys that make Dragon Ball Z unique: Kakarot of any other experience based on Dragon Ball made in the past. The first is the total immersion in the experience of being Son Goku with such a large amount of content. Players will be able to follow the Z saga as it has been lived in the anime, dotted with some unpublished episodes never seen in the original story ”
The Dragon Ball Z battle system: Kakarot is going to allow to have many varied fights Hara stressed in the second key an affirmation that will surprise the users: the move away from the PVP that has been traditional in the fighting games of the series in recent times. The producer explained: ” The second is the battle system developed for the game, which aims to take the saga to Action RPG territory. I think many of the latest Dragon Ball games have been based exclusively on the competitive among players, so Kakarot, as an Action RPG, allows us to focus on a system of battle against the machine against different NPCs and the environment of the own game & quot ;, exposed. ” It will allow us to have many varied fights throughout the adventure, some with conditions against the user in which, for example, the player will have to deal with enemies protected by barriers, energy attacks or huge explosions that occupy part of the map. Many of the battles will keep the user at the edge of the seat. & Quot; He continued with respect to the fight by assuring that it is “something that completely changes the experience, because the past games had to offer conditions that were fair for all the players involved in the PVP battles.”
The last key, Hara concluded, ” It has to do with the gameplay of Son Goku while he is not fighting. The experience of eating at a table full of food to satiate your gluttonous appetite, aerial exploration using your flying skills or the possibility of speaking with many and many characters that will directly effect how powerful Goku will end up at the end of the game. We are facing a story in which we will experience the infinite path of Son Goku to be more powerful & quot ;.
The title will be released next year 2020 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Do not miss our playable impressions of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot from E3 2019. How was Son Goku doing in his new game?
