During the GuardianCon 2019, Gearbox has presented a panel to talk about some innovations that will put on the table the expected Borderlands 3. To the long list of small touches and comforts that we know so far, we also add a system of dialing similar to that already have games like Apex Legends or Fortnite.
If you have played any of the above, you can imagine how it works: it is a simple tool that allows us to indicate in the interface any element that catches our attention, like a chest, an enemy, a weapon or a part of the stage. Our teammates will also see that signal, so communicating and playing as a team should be easier than ever.
It’s not the only novelty that Borderlands 3 has brought to GuardianCon. Another of the most talked about characteristics is the debut of the duels all against all. It is a PvP mode very similar to the classic duels of the saga, only now all the players can participate in the same contest shooting anyone who wants (FFA). It is not very clear if there will be any type of water dedicated to this modality or if it will be limited to a small enclosed space of our choice, or if there will be a new way of regulating and personalizing everything related to PvP.
Borderlands 3 will be available on September 13 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The computer version opens only in Epic Games Store, although next year it can be purchased through stores like Steam.
