Traditionally, the Borderlands saga has had several playable characters available as a paid DLC, such as psychopath Krieg or Baroness Aurelia. However, it seems that Borderlands 3 will not follow that path and will be content to keep the four characters that it goes on sale with: Moze, Amara, Zane and FL4K.
” We are focused on the game main right now ” explains Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox, to one of his Twitter followers. “But I think it might be better to spend our time expanding what our existing camera hunters can do and how to make them grow instead of adding new ones to start from scratch.” Statistics seem to support this “.

We are focused on the main game for now, but my feelings are that it might be better for us to put our time into expanding what the existing vault hunters can do and how interesting their future growth is instead of adding new ones to start over with. Data seems to support this.
