Secret messages appeared in the promotional content of the game raise its supposed return. Do you remember The Destroyer? It was the epic final enemy of the first Borderlands and was one of the most imposing challenges of the original iteration of the Gearbox video game. It seems that, according to a Morse code discovered in the Twitch disconnection image of the official title channel, The Destroyer could be back.
The code, discovered by the channel Joltzdude 139 of YouTube, would have two suspicious and clear questions: “Where is the first Search Engine of the Chamber?” and “Who is The Destroyer?”, which has prompted the future players of the third part of a new confrontation against the powerful monster.
Of all the content shown so far by 2K and Gearbox (and including the filtering of Borderlands 3 shortly before the release of its first trailer), there is no hint of the hypothetical return of The Destroyer beyond the new studio pill Texas. It will wait to expect new content from the developers to know more about the monster.
The secret codes and tracks are common in Gearbox. Recently, in fact, they did something similar to one of the Borderlands 3 trailers. The video game opens on PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 13. New game content is expected in the coming weeks.
