If a few hours ago we echoed the farewell message of Blizzard creative, which pointed to the cancellation of a video game after two years of work, now it has been the well-known Kotaku portal that has contributed more data on the subject, ensuring that this project was a first-person action video game set in the StarCraft universe.
The main reason for the cancellation, according to Blizzard sources, is that the studio has preferred to focus on its resources in Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2. Without official confirmation of the study, the project is referred to as ” to Battlefield in the StarCraft universe ” being able to control both Terran and Zerg. The development would have advanced very slowly in the last year, but some sources claim that the video game “looked really good”.
It’s reported that it would not have been a result of the cancellation, and apparently Blizzard would like to show Diablo 4 and the sequel to Overwatch in the next BlizzCon later this year. If this information is true it would increase the course of StarCraft, because in the past Blizzard tried to take on the terrain other than the strategy, with the infamous StarCraft: Ghost that never came to see the light.
