In the last dates it has been sad news of the YouTuber Desmond Amofah, aka Etika, for his profession. This is one of the most beloved figures among the community of the Smash Bros. saga that, unfortunately, has been found dead.
Affected by severe depression, which made it clear to fans in some messages with his personal account of Reddit, and in which a few months ago I came to insure that he had “had reached the time of dying.” In fact, last April the police arrested Amofah after publicly announcing that he was going to commit suicide in his own home.
The young man, aged 29, was a creator of content on platforms such YouTube, especially, and also on Twitch. In both platforms I had specialized in Nintendo videogames, however his YouTube channel had been completely abandoned in recent times and had begun to process to self-destruct.
Among the latest content published there, precisely, tells a video in which he said goodbye to fans just a few days ago. Affirming that “it had been a fun life” ” and that it had “gone very well”, but that, in a few words, “it was very jod ** a” YouTube withdrew the video and warned its relatives, who could not contact him.
There was no news about Amofah until New York police found his body floating near the South Street Seaport, and right now an autopsy is being carried out to confirm the suicide as the cause of his death.
We regret to inform that Desmond Amofah aka Etika has been found deceased. https://t.co/sedwZZxglw
